This traditional Inn, set in
the quiet village of Staveley, overlooks the river Kent. At the Eagle
& Child you will find 2 beer gardens, one on the
riverside. We serve excellent local real ales and good food which is
all freshly prepared and cooked to order using local produce and
suppliers. As well
as this we have several en-suite rooms which are all of a high standard.
We are Les Routier recommended and have a 3 Diamond rating from the
AA. A family run business, we aim to make everyone feel at
home. Staveley offers excellent
walking, fishing and cycling, whilst being close to tourist attractions in
Windermere and Kendal.
