ACCOMMODATION |
We
have 12 comfortable en-suite bedrooms consisting of 6 doubles, 3 twin, 1
family (2+2) and 2 triples - single occupancy available during quieter
times. All rooms have been recently refurbished to a high standard
& come with either a bath or shower & central heated. Each have good
quality mattresses for a good night's sleep, coffee and tea making
facilities, hair dryers, direct dial telephones and satellite
television.
Dogs are welcome in 2 of our rooms, please enquire at time of booking -
nominal charge applies. |

Whilst we do not
have an on site pool, guests benefit from our membership with Langdale
Country Club and can use their facilities. Our membership allows
you - our guest access to this luxury complex where during your stay
with us you can relax in the beauty salon, enjoy the views from the spa

Homemade traditional British meals & snacks are
served in the public lounge bar, or for a quieter
atmosphere in the adjoining dining room for a
quieter atmosphere. Our Homemade desserts prove to
be very tempting.
Our chef Danny Richards takes pride in his menu with
well presented food using local produce. Choose
from an extensive menu including homemade pies,
Cumberland sausage on mash and onion gravy or from
his own dishes which change each season. Daily
specials are where he uses his flair and
imagination. |

The
Crown Inn, previously known as The Crown Hotel, is
situated
in
the centre of the picturesque village of Coniston
in the heart of the English Lake District.
Coniston Water is the lake used by
Donald Campbell for his water speed record in his
jet boat Bluebird
and
where he lost his life attempting to break that
record

a short distance away is the beautiful Tarn Hows
which attracts
some three-quarters of a million people to visit
each year.

are also on the path of the Cumbrian Way and welcome
