 Situated in the market square
of Appleby, Crown & Cushion is
one of the four 15th Century Inns in the ancient market town. We
benefited from a refurbishment in 2003. On offer is high quality Jennings real ales and
good homemade bar food and sandwiches, served from a varied pub food menu.
Also popular with locals and visitors alike is our big screen TV, which
shows all live sport from cricket to rugby and of course football and being
the only big screen in town it is the only place to come and watch live
sport. Because the sports facilities are housed in a separate room,
you can still enjoy a quiet drink or meal in the non smoking restaurant in
peace. Everyone at the Crown and Cushion will give newcomers a
warm and friendly welcome. We are very happy to entertain families
