The Cavendish Arms is building up a very strong reputation for live music and are renowned for having the "Best Juke Box in Dalton!".  Under the new management of Paul & Joanne, who took over in September 2004, they are making changes for the better to the pub.  Because live bands are carefully selected and we try to choose good bands who have not been seen in the area before, live entertainment is held when we come across good acts and not every week.  Events are well advertised in the local newspapers and in the pub.  We are a good fun pub with a good selection of drinks, entertainment and of course the popular a function room for any occasion.  We have a strict policy on violence in that one act of violence will incur a lifetime ban.  We therefore have a safe pub even when extremely busy.
