The Castle Inn dates back to the early 1700's and is only a short walk from Kendal Castle.  We have whitewashed walls set off by colourful hanging baskets.  Very much a traditional pub with very good local trade.  We are well known for our quality bar food, which includes large fillets of fresh fish made with a special batter recipe.  If you would like to join us we will always give you a very warm welcome.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
