Blacksmiths Arms Photo This is a traditional Lakeland Pub dating back to 1748.  At the Blacksmiths Arms you can enjoy quality meals freshly prepared using produce from local supplies as much as possible with a great variety of dishes such as Lancashire cheese, home made soup, Haggis in Cumberland sauce, Lakeland Lamb Shoulder, Home made Steak pie and lots more.  We have original slate flagged floors, oak beams and log fires in the winter.  There is a small bar, for drinkers only, plus three dining rooms where families are very welcome.  During the warmer months you can relax with a drink outside on the pretty patio area which is landscaped and adorned with hanging baskets & plants.  Walkers and their dogs are always welcome.  Don't forget to come along to the Blacksmiths Arms and sample some proper Lakeland hospitality.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
