 The
Beehive, a typical high quality John Barras pub, is situated just
½ mile from Carlisle City Centre. An attractive building this pub
dates back to 1872. We offer a very varied range of facilities and
activities to ensure the pub caters for most people's needs. The
Beehive has a single bar area layout with a well stocked bar, lounge and a
place for sport. The big screen is positioned so that matches can
be seen anywhere in the pub, whether you are at the bar or sat down in the
lounge area. We are an extremely friendly pub with a relaxed
atmosphere. As Michael, the publican said, 'you will always be
greeted by a warm welcome from staff and regulars'. Because of our
excellent position for football fans, being opposite Carlisle United
Football Ground, we see many visitors to the area, especially on match
days when the crowds come in. We do not tolerate any trouble so even
at these times the place remains friendly. You are all invited to
join the masses when our weekly and monthly entertainment nights are
held. There are some fantastic tribute acts and live singers which
always make a great evening out. As well as the bar stocked with all
the favourite pints we serve popular food dishes throughout the day with
weekly special offers! These meals are very well thought of and you
will not find better value nearby. Attracting a wide age range of
customers, from 18 to 80 years old, this family friendly venue has staff
awaiting your visit.
