Sisters Sandra & Joyce grew
up in nearby Sedbergh, with a large extended family from Cumbria and

Barbon Inn is a
lies in the delightful village of Barbon, nestling in the Lune
valley, deep between the
Lake
District
and the Yorkshire Dales. Originally built in the 17th century as a Coaching
Inn, it has recently been refurbished retaining all the character you would
expect to find in such an old building -
the open log fire in the bar completes the ambiance.
In the Barbon Inn you will enjoy the
atmosphere created by over 300 years of history. See the pock marks in the
settle from a 19th Century shooting and find out about the hanged
highwayman. Locally brewed beers
are a speciality and a very popular. You can also choose some wine from our
personally selected wine list. Sandra is a wine expert and as a result, we
are proud to have an extensive selection of good wines at drinkable prices.
You will always find
a peaceful haven of friendly hospitality, fine food and soothing comfort -
the ideal combination for the perfect break away. We look forward to
greeting you and your friends in the near future at the Barbon Inn.
