The Wheatsheaf is an old building on the Cheshire border in the
village of Dunham on the Hill, near Helsby. Originally known as the Penny
Farthing this family destination has a dining experience which has been much enhanced. To complement meals you have a range of
wines, coffees or draught products from the bar. The pub has family, dining and
bar areas inside, along with a Wacky Warehouse for the children. The Wacky
caters for young children under 4ft 9ins tall, having games and equipment
to keep them occupied for hours. All of this is available at an
affordable rate. Outside
there is a free play area for the older children and our beer garden, suitable
for everyone, is an ideal place to chill out in the balmy days
of summer! If you are looking for a new venue to take all members of the
family for a day out then look no further than the Wheatsheaf. You will
not be disappointed.
