 The Wheatsheaf is an old building on the Cheshire border in the
village of Dunham on the Hill, near Helsby. Originally known as the Penny
Farthing this family destination venue now sports the yellow, orange and
burgundy colours of the Two for One concept, since it's refurbishment in summer
2004. Our dining experience has been much enhanced and now the
popular Two For One menu offers a choice which is hard to beat. The Two for One deal lets you
simply order two
adult main meals and get the cheapest one free. To complement this meal you have a range of
wines, coffees or draught products from the bar. The pub has family, dining and
bar areas inside, along with a Wacky Warehouse for the children. The Wacky
caters for young children under 4ft 9ins tall, having games and equipment
to keep them occupied for hours. All of this is available at an
affordable rate. Outside
there is a free play area for the older children and our beer garden, suitable
for everyone, is an ideal place to chill out in the balmy days
of summer! If you are looking for a new venue to take all members of the
