 The Waggon & Horses is located on the outskirts of Handforth
on the B5358 road to Heald Green within easy access to the Motorway and three miles from
a Travel Inn. Having had a major refurbishment we reopened in November
2004 as a Two For One venue. There is now a separate, newly converted
restaurant and bar area. Food is served from the Two for One menu with a
range of wines available to complement you choice. There are suitable
alternatives for all ages. The Two for One deal lets you
simply order two
adult main meals and get the cheapest one free. This is a great family pub with excellent
facilities for the youngsters. We have a free outdoor play area in the
garden and inside, the Wacky Warehouse is a delight for all little ones under 4'
9" tall. This has plenty of safe equipment and games.
Children's parties are regularly held here. The separate Function Room can accommodate parties or meetings
of up to 45 people with food available from the main menu or lighter options for
meetings. This is a vibrant pub where all are welcomed. Come along
soon and join in the sociable atmosphere.
