Three Greyhounds pub, AllostockThe Three Greyhounds is the only pub in the village of Allostock, opposite Shakerley Mere.  Being 6 to 7 minutes away from Junction 18 of the M6 and 10 minutes from Junction 19, this 300 year old pub is most attractive.  It has a whitewashed, rural look decorated with hanging baskets in the summer months.  Inside there is a separate bar area, tap room and snug with open fireplaces and traditional wood, brasses etc.  There is full table service in the dining area or, if preferred, the meal can be eaten anywhere in the pub or beer garden, weather permitting.  Even dogs are treated kindly here with free treats and bowls of water provided in the tap room!  With all this on offer plus a famous darts team, a visit here is highly recommended!
