![]() This picturesque, 350 year old pub is situated in the National Trust Village of Styal. The pub was once known as the 'Shippon', a farm building used to store manure, but became the Ship Inn when the farmer who owned it started brewing for the local people. It now attracts visitors to the nearby mill and surrounding area for it's much sweeter smelling 260 year old wisteria and the beautiful roses that grow up the front of the building. We serve good food from an extensive menu every day with choices for all the family. You can complement your meal with a drink from the bar which includes favourite beers, bottles and an extensive range of real ales. Popular weekly entertainment is held with a quiz night. Our pleasant countryside location make us a good choice for holding a get together - we even have a separate room too! The beer garden is the perfect place to relax and have lunch on a summers day. When you come, be ready to take in the warm welcome of the Ship. |
