Saracens Head, Warburton

The Saracens Head can be found on the outskirts of the small, picturesque village of Warburton, near Lymm. Conveniently accessible to Junction 21 of the M6 and with the M60 Motorway to the other side, this is a very attractive 17th Century Inn retaining many original features such as the old oak bar, open log fires in the snug and nooks and crannies. The building outside is also original and has not been modernised. There is a tunnel connecting the pub to the church across the road, which can be seen from the pub window and history has it that Dick Turpin stayed here once upon a time! The excellent atmosphere is immediately apparent as you walk through the door with everyone welcome be it for a drink or a meal. Food is chosen from a range of menus and can be eaten anywhere in the pub, or out in the garden during the warmer weather. There is a range of wines to choose from to complement your meal or, if preferred, real ales and other drinks at the bar. For the younger family members there is a huge outdoor play space for the summer and, inside, soft play room with all the latest play equipment to keep them happily occupied. We also have a Function Room where all sorts of get togethers can be held. Come along soon to this quality venue for an excellent meal with the family or a tasty drink with friends.
