REFURBISHMENT

We re-opened Spring 2010 following a Ł350,000 refurbishment. Inside is stylish keeping features such as the original beams. We now have 168 seats outside with Jumbrella's covering parts and we offer al fresco dining. Come and see the changes for yourself.

The Rising Sun is to be found heading from Crewe towards Chester at the edge of Wistaston village on the A530 Middlewich road. This destination food house is an olde worlde style venue. Inside there is a bar and large dining area with lots of nooks and crannies, old beams and two real log fires for the winter which gives character to this lovely old pub. During the summer months food can be enjoyed al fresco on the large patio areas. Floral displays complete the picturesque theme. We employ highly skilled Chefs who have superb kitchen facilities. The food can be chosen from the extensive main menu or a range of Specials and fresh fish from the chalkboards. You will be served meals, which have been prepared from the freshest of ingredients and cooked to order. To complement your meal there is an extensive choice of quality wines.
