 The
Rising Sun is located in
Gawsworth, a nice residential area about two miles from Macclesfield.
Predominantly a food house we also have a good regulars base of clientele
who come to enjoy a drink at the bar. The original old building has
been extended over the years to the substantial pub it is today. We
re-opened in December 2008 following a fabulous refurbishment. The decor is contemporary along with stylish fixtures
and fittings. The lounge area has sofas creating an ideal place for relaxing
with a freshly ground coffee. There is a separate bar/lounge and
restaurants with designated dining area although food can be eaten
throughout the pub or out in the beer garden during the summer months.
Meals can be chosen from the excellent extensive menu which has favourites
for the whole family. We can
pre-book tables for groups but we don't hold parties as such. Come and try
us out next time you are down this way. The helpful team look
forward to seeing new faces. You are guaranteed an unforgettable dining
