The Ring O’ Bells is located on the one street in the delightful village of Daresbury.
The pubs claim to fame is that it is the birthplace of Lewis Carroll who wrote ‘Alice in Wonderland’.
This pretty destination food house has a listed old stone horse stop and trough to the front, barrels of flowers, hanging and window baskets.
Historically this used to be the old Courthouse and inside there is the sessions room which was renovated in 1999.
Today the atmosphere is welcoming and cosy having 140 covers, open fires and candles on the tables. As a Chef & Brewer pub, they employ high quality chefs who are superb. The food is served from a main menu which have been prepared from the freshest of ingredients and cooked to order.
