Come
along to the Red Lion and have a great time with friends and family.
Having undergone a major refurbishment in April 2007, it is a more
upmarket free house now with a lovely contemporary feel. The walls
are magnolias, greens, reds and duck egg blues. Seating includes
leather sofas, and booth seating offering more intimate dinking /
drinking. Mood lighting allows us to be a bright airy venue during
the day, whilst in the evenings we light candles for a more romantic
feel. The brand new menu, offers quality pub food with delicious
choices from our homemade soup for starters to mouthwatering mains and
desserts. We still offer the Two for One deal which lets you
simply order two
adult main meals and get the cheapest one free. Along
with delicious food you can choice from a wide selection of premier drinks
including quality wines and a good range of Fairtrade 'bean to cup' coffees.
Situated in the village of Penketh, this is a
very family friendly pub with a Fun House, an indoor play building designed
for the kids. Children under 4ft 9ins tall can come and play with all
the latest equipment, guaranteeing a fantastic time. Whether it be
food, drink or something for the family, all are welcome here.
