The Peacock lies 15 minutes drive from the M6 on the A500
and about 5 minutes from the railway station, with Nantwich just two miles
away. Fully refurbished to a high standard in February 2008,
we have not lost our charm, but now have a contemporary twist. Decor
is sage green and duck egg blues, with
fantastic light fittings including dimmer controlled lights and candlelight
to create ambiance. Cosy corners with leather and suede sofas and
comfy chairs offer a 'home from home' environment to relax alone or with
friends. You are welcome to come and enjoy a cup of fresh coffee, hook
up to the internet and surf, or work. We are passionate about good
food, so wherever possible we strive to use only local seasonal fruit and
vegetables along with locally reared meat. Our fabulous new menus
offer some amazing food with fantastic dishes, created by local experience
chef 'Hany Osman' and his team. Be tempted by our slow cooked crispy belly pork, and taste
the difference in our 14 hour sirloin steak. If you have room, maybe
finish with a handmade dessert such as our delicious chocolate fondant
pudding. Along with your meal you can choose a wine from our extensive
wine menu, to complement any
dish, or a quality cask ale from our
selection. Great for alfresco dining in the summertime, we have a
newly developed really 'wow' patio area, featuring classy patio
furniture, and a partially covered pergola with heating and lighting, in a
luxurious setting with bamboo features. We also
serve breakfast for the visitors to the Premier Inn next door. Come
along to this fantastic pub and restaurant where the helpful, friendly team make
this the great venue it is. See you soon.
