The Oaklands is a popular venue for
food, drink and entertainment. You will find us in a very tranquil
part of Chester with an equally relaxed atmosphere inside the pub. Our
mixture of local residents and visitors to the area help to create this.
Converted from an old police station many years ago we now have a trouble
free and female friendly environment. Having the largest viewing area
for Sport in the locality we are very popular with football enthusiasts.
With a good community spirit many locals come and see their favourite team
play on the big screen or take part in the fun weekly entertainment. Particularly on those
nights people tend to stay the whole night but we also see many start their
evening here before heading into the City Centre. Available every day,
there is a superb choice of delicious meals which can be chosen from the
renowned Giant Plate menu. This includes a must try food offer early
in the
week. We are very close to many local attractions such as Chester
Roman Wall, The Blue Planet Aquarium, Chester Oaks Retail Park and Chester
Zoo which is literally round the corner. For those passing through the
