Oaklands pub, Chester

The Oaklands is ideally situated about 20 minutes walk or a short car ride from Chester. This venue was converted from an old police station many years ago and fully refurbished to a high standard in 2010 to the Hungry Horse concept. You will find us in a very tranquil part of Chester with an equally relaxed atmosphere inside the pub for dining and enjoying a drink with friends. Now a contemporary styled venue, we are mostly open plan with a sumptuous colour scheme of dark red, orange and rich browns. Sky and ESPN sports are shown on our many big screens. Good food is served every day, from the extensive Hungry Horse menu with many offers on a selection of favourites. Our Sunday Roast must be tried. We are very close to local attractions such as Chester Roman Wall, the Blue Planet Aquarium, Chester Oaks Retail Park and Chester Zoo, which is literally round the corner.
