 The Lion is
a town centre pub located in the historical
market town of Sandbach, which continues to host a market every Thursday.
This is a Grade
II listed building, where the old stables remain and its stalls and troughs were
used as the bottle store. Today The
Lion is a good, trouble free community pub with a very mixed clientele of
all ages. Inside is open plan with wooden floors
throughout. There are couches and low tables offering lounge type areas to relax
over a drink with friends or alone. The colour scheme is contemporary with
greys and sage greens. We are the best place in the area to watch Sport
with two big screens and six other TVs around the pub, so you can watch a big
game or your favourite sport any time. Other entertainment includes DJ
led party nights at the weekend and a pool table is available for a friendly
game amongst friends. Call in soon and enjoy some time out in good
