The
Cock & Pheasant
is a dining destination venue in the village of Bollington, a semi
rural location three miles from the centre of Macclesfield, close to a
canal. The original building dates back to 1755 and is brick fronted
with floral displays in the summer. Originally a pub with cottages,
the cottages were converted to the pub at a later date. The most
common comment about the pub is that it has lots of character, with beams
throughout the interior. The total service area is divided into four
sections including a conservatory and there are two fires (not real but very
good imitations). You can
dine anywhere throughout the pub or outside in the summer where the garden has seating
for 70 people. This venue always has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and
we offer a warm welcome to everyone. We have been featured in the Manchester Evening News dining out section.
If you are in the area, call in and have a tasty meal and a quality drink.
Your first visit is sure not to be your last.
