 The Old Red Lion in
Horseheath is an olde worlde 18th Century Inn with
modern, lodge style accommodation. It is conveniently located 15 minutes
from Stamford, close to the historic town of Saffron Walden, Linton Zoo and
accessible to Cambridge. Having had a major refurbishment in June 2004
this pub has a village feel to it and offers its customers the very best
facilities. Quality food is freshly prepared and cooked to order by our
French chef who creates a new menu each week. Your meal can be eaten in
the restaurant or bar area and is understandably very popular. So much so
that we cater for private functions such as weddings in the restaurant for up to
60 people. The accommodation rooms are all en-suite and modern in
design. Two have disabled facilities and another has an unusual feature of a
night sky with stars of light! Add to this the good selection of draught
beers and real ales available at the bar and you have a pub to suit
