FUNCTIONS	Community Centre, next to the pub, acts as a function facility for up to 100 people. Can set up a separate bar.

Only 16 years old, The Haywain is situated next to a supermarket and offers a place for the whole community to socialise with good food, drinks and entertainment available. Refurbished in December 2007 to a high standard, we now have a more contemporary look, with a lighter, brighter feel. Neutral tones of browns, beiges and coffee colours, blend in to created a relaxed environment for drinking or dining. In the bar area there is a selection of lounge seating including sofas, so you can relax alone or with a friend and enjoy just a drink or a cup of fresh coffee. With free wireless internet access, you could bring your laptop and take advantage of this great new facility. Food is served throughout with a varied main menu, offering two for one on a selection of favourite dishes. Children are welcome to dine with adults up until 6pm in the evening. Sport is a big feature of The Haywain, with our own football team and of course important Sky & Setanta matches are shown on numerous plasma screens and there is even an outdoor screen. You may want to come along and try out one of our two weekly quizzes, or take part in some poker playing. We have a very friendly trouble free and female welcoming atmosphere, and one that is well worth trying with your friends and family.
