Situated
on the main road, just outside the town centre of Peterborough, The
Halcyon was built
in 1957. Following a £400,000 refurbishment in April 2008 we have
a stylish, modern look, with new fixtures and fittings, furniture and warm coloured decor. Like all Hungry Horse pubs we offer large food portions
from an extensive, value for money menu. As we are big on food
there is a more secluded lounge area for dining but you can eat anywhere
in the pub. We welcome everyone, including
families and the disabled. Our trouble free and female friendly
atmosphere creates a good pub to just enjoy a pint. The pub has its own pool area and a large well
stocked bar. Our atmosphere and good food, gains us a good locals following but
customers travel from long distances just to try this very special
pub. Why not come and join them - you will not be disappointed.
