 The
Fox & Hounds
is located in a residential area of the
small village of Longthorpe, close to Peterborough. The pub burnt
down in the 1920's and was then rebuilt to create a dining house which
strives to offer a happy and warm environment. The Fox & Hounds has not
lost its character, although now has a contemporary style with a twist
of flavour and lots of atmosphere. Décor is pale spring greens,
browns and creams, with fantastic light fittings and furniture.
You can relax in the bar area in comfy seats by the fire. We have
a great mid week food offer on a selection of meals from our main menu. Sunday roast is something not to be missed
with a superb array of roasts available all served with traditional
accompaniments. Wine is available by the glass or bottle or
there is real ale if preferred. This is
a cosy venue having three open fires, nooks and crannies with candles on
the tables to add atmosphere for evening diners. During the
summer, dining can be al fresco on the patio which has nine tables
seating fifty.
