 The Dolphin can be found four miles from Royston on the High Street in
the small picturesque village of Melbourn with its thatched
cottages. This is a traditional style pub with comfy sofas and easy
chairs allowing good conversation in relaxed surroundings. The pubs
unique Little Library is open for you to come and exchange or buy a book,
with all money raised guaranteed to go to a good cause. Popular
at lunchtimes with locals and office workers who come to enjoy a tasty
meal or snack, food can be eaten anywhere throughout the pub or outside
during the warm summer months. All important matches are shown on
the big screen and pool and darts teams are very active each week.
There is a very good selection of drinks available at the bar, including
