The Cutter Inn
is ideally
situated on the River Ouse, near to the train station in Ely and a ten
minute walk to Ely Cathedral. This
grade II listed building was refurbished in April 2006 throughout and retains its traditional features
like wooden floors and panelling, but at the same time has a contemporary,
modern feel. In 1964 a boat was used to make the bar and is still
in place today. Fantastic views can be seen in the summer, with a
seating terraced area being just 10 feet from the river. During the winter months
real fires are lit in the bar and restaurant to keep you warm while you
enjoy a meal or just a drink. A visit to the Cutter Inn is highly
recommended where friendly staff will welcome you.
