Bridge PhotoThe Bridge Chef & Brewer, located in Waterbeach village on the A10 between Cambridge and Ely, is in a fairly rural area delivering high standards of food, drink and service.  The village is set by the River Cam, has easy access from Cambridge five miles north of here and is not far from the famous Newmarket Race Course.  Whether you are going to the races or just passing through we welcome customers old and new to this pub dating back 200 years.  You will find us a very pleasant and comfortable place to spend time either for a delicious meal or drink with friends.  Like all Chef & Brewers we employ Chefs who pride themselves in creating unique Specials which are in addition to the very varied main menu.  Every meal is cooked to order and prepared from the freshest of ingredients.  People of all ages will find something to suit their taste and with a comprehensive wine list all our meals can be fully savoured.  Our completely non smoking policy means that we stand out from our competitors, attracting new custom all the time.  On arrival you will appreciate the open fires and secluded dining areas with candles lit to give that little extra ambience.  During the summer our al fresco dining is a favourite.  The helpful team await your visit.
