Ye Olde Swan Photo

Ye Olde Swan is less than a mile from Milton Keynes in the small village of Woughton on the Green.  The pub was built in the 1730's and is one of the oldest in the area, keeping much of its original charm with open fireplaces, wooden beams, etc.  It is rumoured that Dick Turpin once stayed here and certainly there have been ghosts, poltergeists and strange sightings!  Don't be put off though because this is a great food house which people travel to from quite a distance in order to savour the fantastic dishes on the menu.  Like all Chef & Brewer pubs we employ high quality Chefs who have superb kitchen facilities.  The food can be chosen from a main menu or unique Specials from the chalk boards which allow our Chefs to show their flair!  You will be served meals which have been prepared from the freshest of ingredients and cooked to order,  Beef and Ale pie is a favourite.  To complement your meal there is an extensive choice of quality wines.  For connoisseurs of real ale we have quite a selection along with other drinks at the bar.  Food can be eaten anywhere in the pub, or outside in the large garden during the summer.  The friendly, efficient staff help to ensure the convivial atmosphere and comfortable ambience.  If you are looking for a pub to enjoy a rather special meal or just a quality drink then you have found it at Ye Olde Swan.
