 The Wavendon Arms is
a country pub nestling on the edge of Wavendon and
dates back to 1851 when it was the centre of village
life for a thriving community, surrounded by lush
farmland. We had a refurbishment at the start
of 2012. Formerly known as The Leathern
Bottle, the pub was once the home of a friendly
society called 'The Oddfellows' and their coat of
arms still serves as the pub's sign. Today,
this beautifully designed venue has a comfortable bar and
dining rooms, incorporating the pub's original
features with a log burning hearth, deep leather
seating and eye-catching teak furniture.
Outside it also has the bonus of a superb garden
perfectly suited to alfresco dining. Our menus are
designed by our chefs who are passionate about food,
utilising fresh ingredients to provide a fashionable
choice aiming for 'comfort appeal' and including
'sharing plates'. Our mouth watering Sunday
roast, beautifully prepared with all the trimmings,
is quite a winner! The bar is stocked with
continental draught and bottled lagers, a variety of
local ales, an extensive, quality wine list and
cocktails to suit the seasons. With a
roaring log fire,
a tasty drink of your choice, and the company of
friends and family, what better way to enjoy a
