The Red Lion's menu is simple and contemporary
with lots of tempting homely dishes that will always please. The
emphasis is on quality with fresh ingredients produced by a
great Head Chef and his food-loving team. As well as plenty of
fresh fish, great steaks and spit roasted meats, there is an
abundance of lighter options such as freshly prepared salads and fired pizzas. |

 The Red Lion,
located in Stoke Green, had a major refurbishment in 2007 and is now a pub
offering fresh
food and warm hospitality with a stylishly modern feel.
Historically it has been an Inn or public drinking house for over 400
years and was formerly part of the estate belonging to the Howard-Vyse
family of Stoke Place. It has been integral to the culture of
Stoke Green for centuries and is now set to reclaim its crown!
The bar area is a home away from home and whether you want to nestle by the
fireplace and enjoy one of our award winning ales or join a group
of friends for a catch-up, this will soon be your favourite place to meet.
The new menu is simple but
up-to-the-minute with homely dishes like pizzas, steaks and pasta with some
more global choices to keep things lively. We have a passion for excellent
food that we are sure you will enjoy. Our wine list contains a wide
range of New and Old World wines that suit every occasion, ranging
from traditional Clarets to Pink Pinot Grigio - with many available by the
glass. We also stock many Champagnes for when you wish to celebrate a
special occasion or even make an ordinary occasion special!
The atmosphere at the Red Lion is relaxed, friendly and informal. Come
