In the centre of the historic
village of Stony Stratford stands The
Plough,
an old converted school. Originally built in 1873 and first converted to a public
house in 1931, this Grade II listed building is a popular
village pub with a relaxed atmosphere. Refurbished in February 2006, you can drop in to
enjoy a quiet drink and good conversation. For Sport enthusiasts
there is a plasma screen and several TVs to watch the match of the
moment along with a darts board to enjoy a game with friends. Food is served from a
quick bite menu and includes pizzas and doorstop sandwiches. With
Cask Marque accreditation you can be sure your real ale is served to the
highest quality. The majority of
our clientele are local regulars, but visitors and passers by are all welcomed
here and we have our own car park for easy access. If it's
a good pint, good company and a warm atmosphere you are looking for, the Plough is the pub
to try.
