 The Horse & Jockey
is located on the main road just
outside Aylesbury town centre. The original pub, along with its
name, is thought to date back to the early 17th Century. It is a
listed building, still retaining its original windows and frames. Over the years
the pub
has been extended and enlarged to the venue you visit today, including
most recently a major refurbishment in June 2007. Fine
food is served from an extensive main menu and can be enjoyed in the restaurant or the bar. There is an excellent choice of
wines or real ales if preferred to complement your meal. With
a Premier Inn next door this is a good place to come and stay
to explore the surrounding area. The pub serves breakfast to Lodge
visitors and passers by. When you next visit this part of the
country be sure to call in and enjoy some time with us.
