Photo Coming SoonFeathers is a beautiful rural destination food house located just outside the village of Taplow, opposite Cliveden House National Trust Park.  Historically we were first licensed in the 1870's and because the Prince of Wales of the time would regularly stop here we have the plume of feathers displayed outside.  The River Thames and Windsor are not far away so many of our clientele spend a whole day here, enjoying our hospitality.  We have had an extensive refurbishment in Autumn 2009. The Feathers now has low-level leather sofas, hardwood & tile floors and a much brighter, more modern, vintage look. Three log & coal fires inside add to the vintage feel, and we employ high quality Chefs who have superb kitchen facilities.  The food can be chosen from a main menu or unique Specials from the chalk boards which allow our Chefs to show their flair!  You will be served meals which have been prepared from the freshest of ingredients and cooked to order.  We specialise in fish and seafood dishes.  To complement your meal there is an extensive choice of quality wines or several real ales if you prefer.  We have a very cosy, friendly atmosphere with log fires burning during the winter, nooks and crannies giving you personal space to enjoy candlelit dining and a gorgeous enclosed patio and large garden overlooking woodland to dine al fresco during the summer.  Blankets & hot water bottles are available if it gets chilly, as well as coal & wood fires around the garden and courtyard.  Be sure to make this your choice destination soon.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
