Feathers
is a beautiful rural destination food house
located just outside the village of Taplow,
opposite Cliveden House National Trust Park.
Historically we were first licensed in the 1870's and because the Prince of
Wales of the time would regularly stop here we have the plume of
feathers displayed outside. The River Thames and Windsor are not
far away so many of our clientele spend a whole day here, enjoying our
hospitality. Like all Chef & Brewer pubs we employ high quality
Chefs who have superb kitchen facilities. The food can be chosen from a
main menu or unique Specials from the chalk boards which allow our Chefs
to show their flair! You will be served meals which have been prepared
from the freshest of ingredients and cooked to order. We specialise in
fish and seafood dishes. To complement your meal there is an extensive choice of
quality wines or several real ales if you prefer. We have a very
cosy, friendly atmosphere with log fires burning during the winter,
nooks and crannies giving you personal space to enjoy candlelit dining
and a gorgeous enclosed patio and large garden overlooking woodland to
dine al fresco during the summer. Be sure to make this your choice
destination soon.
