Combined with care and freshly cooked for you, our dishes deliver the best of traditional pub food and more. We offer a range of great value menus throughout the week, so you can be assured that great quality Chef & Brewer food does not cost the earth.
Our mouth-watering new Autumn Winter menu offers a range of your favourite Chef & Brewer dishes. We also have a great selection of new dishes - so whether it's a platter to share with friends, a delicious starter or a classic main course, we have something to suit everyone! Try our new range of delicious platters, including our impressive Chef & Brewer platter or perhaps choose one of the Chef & Brewer favourites, including the Winter Pie Platter and scallops and black pudding.  The Crown Inn is located in the picturesque village of Penn, situated in the Chiltern Hills, we are opposite the church with a superb aspect of the surrounding countryside. Very well known for our quality food and beautiful beers. We offer quality food all freshly prepared using seasonal British produce which includes British reared meat. Food can be chosen from a seasonal menus or selection of daily changing Specials. To complement your meal there is an extensive choice of quality wines along with a range of tea and coffee or real ale. Customers who just wish to have a drink can choose from a superb selection including award winning real ales. Table service is offered throughout the pub, which has 170 covers inside and has a homely, cosy, inviting atmosphere with open log fires lit in the colder months. Parts of the building are 250 years old which adds to the ambience of the place. Our large beer garden, which rolls down the hillside, has ample seating so you can enjoy a thirst quenching drink or dine al fresco.
