Situated in the area of Amersham on the Hill, just out side the main town
centre,
The Boot &
Slipper is a high quality public house. Well located on the
road to many Chiltern towns we have become a good meeting point for holiday
makers and passers by. This is a historic building which over the years has
been extended however, the original building still stands and is the oldest
in the area. Thought to be built on the site of the old cobblers shop, hence
the name boot and slipper. The site is recorded as being owned by Wellers of
Amersham's brewery in the 17 to 1800's and is noted for being one of the
most hunted buildings in Amersham. Today, with our three open fires and
comfortable furnishings this is a very welcoming place to visit. Part of the
Chef and Brewer pub estate we offer the best in traditional cooked pub food
as well as being a favourite real ale house for many. Six guest ales are
usually available and if this does not tempt you why not have a glass or a
bottle of wine from an extensive selection. If you dine here you can expect
a superb range of delicious cooked to order meals. At the boot and slipper
you can expect top quality range of delicious cooked meals from our core and
