 Yates's is located in the
Friar Street area of Reading where most of the towns bars are. It
is just a
few minutes walk from the railway station and close to Board Street
which is the main shopping area. Fully refurbished in May 2007 this stylish bar
is set on two floors, classy and modern in a decor of dark reds, dark browns
and chocolate
colours, with every kind of seating available. The fantastic beer
garden is extremely popular and caters for between 150 - 200 people,
with its own bar, barbecue and plasma screen. We cater for everyone.
Great pub food is served during the day from a main menu when office
workers and shoppers come for their lunchtime break. In the
evening we become a lively party venue, especially Friday and Saturday nights
when we have DJ led music. For Sport enthusiasts we have a total
of twelve plasma screens to enable that important match to be seen from
anywhere around the bar. If you are looking for a friendly venue
