The Weather Vane
was built in about 1997 and is set in a residential area surrounded by housing so it is only a short
walk for the local regulars who frequent our pub. We re-opened in
August 2008 following a refurbishment. Having been re-decorated with new
furniture & upholstery, carpets & subdued lighting we have a fresh new look. Bracknell town centre is very
close but we are near the M3, M4 and M25 making us a great destination
Brewers Fayre venue to
drink, eat or, with the Premier Inn close by, to stay should you be visiting the many places of interest
in the area. These include Windsor, Ascot, Legoland, Coral Reef, Look Out Discovery
Centre, Go Ape and the Madjesky Stadium
for football or concerts, to name but a few! We also have local golf courses,
a swimming pool, a cinema and bowling alley all within walking distance. The
pub has a modern decor of bright colours, some exposed brick work and bright upholstery to
complement the look. It is a large pub and has 165 covers giving plenty of dining
space. You can enter through the bar area which leads through to the
dining area. We welcome a good number of regular
locals
who enjoy a sociable drink here. Although we are family friendly we try to keep an area for adult
only dining which is a quieter spot to enjoy
a meal. Our other customers include visitors staying at the Premier Inn, 70%
who usually dine with us, along with business people from
surrounding
companies in the industrial estate and families. During the week we have a lively lunch
time trade with a good mix of age group's in this female
friendly environment. Quality food is served at a reasonable price and
the children's menu holds appetizing choices for our younger visitors.
We are within an hours journey of London for a day out.
Should four or more people travel by bus to the centre of London a
pass is only £8.00 per person and prices go down the more people who are travelling.
With so many reasons to come and see us be sure to visit us soon. |
