The
Shepherds House is to be found opposite a Garden Centre in
Moss End on the A3095 between Bracknell and Maidenhead. Following a recent
refurbishment we now have a
heated, covered al fresco area. This charming
destination food house decorated with hanging baskets and window boxes with a
pond to the side, this is a venue well worth trying. The main part of the
building dates back to the 1700's and has old wood beams and fireplaces. There are nooks
and crannies throughout for privacy, sheep pictures, ornaments etc. all around
and candles on the tables which add to the ambiance.
Like all Chef & Brewer pubs we employ high quality Chefs who have
superb kitchen facilities. The food can be chosen from a main menu
or unique Specials from the chalk boards which allow our Chefs to show
their flair! You will be served meals which have been prepared
from the freshest of ingredients and cooked to order. Our signature dish is Shepherds House Pie and we also
specialise in fresh fish dishes. To complement your meal there is an
extensive choice of quality wines or real ales and other drinks are available at the bar. If you come during the
summer, look out for our theme months as, for example Spanish, Italian and Greek
months. Travel a little out of your way to sample the delights of this olde worlde establishment. You are guaranteed a relaxed dining experience
in a friendly, sociable setting. |
