Head
at Newbury is situated on the
corner of the Market Square with a patio to the rear overlooking the
canal. Markets are held on a Thursday and Saturday and the pub
used to be an indoor market. Today it has the Tardis effect of
looking small from the outside but is actually open plan and big when
you come in. A traditional feel is created by the large beams
within contemporary decor. We attract a good mix of people during
the day from shoppers to office workers who spend their lunch break with
us having a meal from the main menu or a drink from the well stocked
bar. Our food offers are particularly popular and with Cask Marque
accreditation you are assured of a quality real ale. This is a
good all round pub with a good trouble free atmosphere. Sport is
shown on the screens around the bar and there is a pool table to enjoy a
game with friends. In the evening we are part of the the local
circuit and a good place to meet. Come and join us next time
