The
Downgate is located in the
historic town of Hungerford on the very edge of the ancient Hungerford
Common.
With its
intriguing antique shops and arcades and its picturesque canal, it is worth

of Arkell's Brewery's pubs for all seasons - as warm and cosy in the
wintertime as it is bright and fresh in the summer. We are well known for our homemade food and all meals are
prepared on the premises using fresh ingredients. There is a good
selection of traditional dishes alongside a range of international
cuisine. Complement your meal with a choice wine or a well kept real
