The
Chequers is situated at the end of the shopping precinct in
a residential area of Woodley, near Reading. There is a good base of
regulars and we also attract many shoppers who drop in for a break.
Inside there is a single bar offering a good range of drinks, including some
popular shooters and pints of beer. Now serving food from a very
popular menu, you can get pub food with changing special offers on your
favourites. The pub is a 5 to 10 minute walk from five other pubs so it is a good place
to call in on the way to the town centre. With polite, welcoming staff
and a good atmosphere this is a friendly place to be, so come and see us
