Situated in Shinfield village on the outskirts of Reading The Black Boy is on a local bus route, with easy access from the M4. Easily found we are a bit of a local landmark, just off the Black Boy Roundabout, which was named after the pub. An old stone building, you will be greeted by a friendly team in comfortable, modern surroundings. Our bar area has an open fire and sofas to relax alone or with friends. The dining area also has a contemporary feel. You can dine throughout the venue, with Mike & Claire now offering delicious home-cooked food daily, from a regularly changing modern British style menu.
