to 1733. Over the years this comfy 17th century country inn has welcomed
many guests, including Glenn Miller before his fateful flight. A

Located 4 miles from Bedford,
the Queens Head Hotel is a warm,
country hotel and inn with a friendly atmosphere. Having an original
17th Century front and traditional interior, with low beamed ceilings, this
Inn has a lot to
offer. We have even been frequented in the past by the likes of Glen
Miller. A popular venue for diners, freshly prepared cuisine is
cooked to order from an extensive main menu, specials board and bar snack
menu. Vegetarian options are available and we can modify dishes to
accommodate special dietary requirements. Famous locally is our
mouth watering 'Magnificent Seven' dish, where you choose 4 different flavoured
sausages from a choice of 7 and accompany them with a mash from a choice of
4. Meals can be enjoyed in our restaurant or in the bar
area. Breakfast is available daily and open to non residents as well. On Sundays we serve a popular delicious, traditional
Sunday lunch with all the trimmings. Thirteen comfortable, en-suite
bedrooms, including a twin room with disabled facilities, can be enjoyed.
Late availability or
special rates are often available when you book through our Central
Reservations. During the warmer weather you may want to relax with a
drink outside on our enclosed patio. Everyone is welcome at the
Queens Head Hotel, where helpful staff are ready to greet you to make
your visit here a pleasant one. |
