We completed an extensive
refurbishment programme in August 2007 and re-opened the pub with a
modern and traditional but relaxed look. Everyone is welcome at the

Built in the 12th Century for the Stonemasons, who then
erected one of the oldest churches in England in the 13th Century, The
Golden Bell is a very authentic pub with original
beams. All one room, we are not very large but do offer a good
selection of drinks, food and sport. Catering for lunchtime
workers and shoppers with our wholesome pub food we attract tourists
during the summer months. The Golden Bell has a trouble free and
female friendly atmosphere with good natured regulars and staff, to make
a visit here an enjoyable one. All are welcome to watch a game on
our screen, try excellent real ales and pub food served at
lunchtime and evening 7 days a week. Our drinks promotions are
