 Built in the 12th Century for the Stonemasons, who then
erected one of the oldest churches in England in the 13th Century, The
Golden Bell is a very authentic pub with original
beams. All one room, we are not very large but do offer a good
selection of drinks, food and sport. Catering for lunchtime
workers and shoppers with our wholesome pub food we attract tourists
during the summer months. The Golden Bell has good natured regulars and staff, to make
a visit here an enjoyable one. All are welcome to watch a game, try excellent real ales and pub food served at
lunchtime and evening 7 days a week. We have a warm, cosy,
friendly atmosphere, with excellent service, brilliant staff and great
