Castle Photo

Near the Embankment, only 2 minutes from Bedford town centre, in a quiet desirable residential area, The Castle is a trouble free 200 year old pub.  Catering mainly for professionals the pub has character with oak beams giving an olde worlde atmosphere.  Within very traditional English surroundings you will find us an ideal place to gather before heading into town.  We are the meeting place for the Bedford Blues Rugby Team.  The Castle offers a good selection of drinks and delicious homemade food served in the lounge and bar.  Our superb Sunday Roast must be tried as well as the recently started Punjabi Food evenings.  The very good reputation for food has gained us much custom and with accommodation this is a good place to stay.
