REFURBISHMENT	We re-opened from a г150,000 refurbishment on 5th October 2007. With a great new look, we have zoned areas including relaxed seating and a great new menu available. Why not come along and see the changes for yourself.

PUB OPENING TIMES	Monday - Thursday 11am - 11pm. Friday & Saturday 11am - 11.30pm (managers discretion). Sunday 12noon - 10.30pm.

The Black Lion is a very attractive 18th Century English pub in the High Street of a small market town. Fully refurbished in October 2007, we have the look of a modern British local pub. Artwork on the walls depicts a history Leighton Buzzard from the 1800's onwards. Original black wooden beams and a proper pub feel give the atmosphere of a traditional local. We have 'zoned' areas including a sports zone, lounge area with big comfy chairs and a dining area. You can choose to dine anywhere in the pub from the varied menu, which includes a range of mains along with salads and burgers etc. Great for a coffee, we have fresh Fairtrade hot beverages served anytime of the day. Free wireless internet access, means you can relax with a coffee and surf the net or catch up with a bit of work. Our clientele are mostly locals of all age groups, visitors to the town and former residents, on their return who pop in to visit. We show all major matches in the sports area and there is a good sports following. At the Black Lion you can find the over 18's passing the time of day happily with the elderly.
