Southfields is
an old attractive building which formerly was a walkers institute. Now
part of the Sizzling Pub Company brand we re-opened our doors following a
major refurbishment in December 2008. Our new look is quite
contemporary and open plan with sofas in the bar area. The
pub is set in its own grounds in a residential area, only a 20 minute drive
from Manchester City Centre which offers an excellent shopping experience.
At the bottom of the grounds our gardens overlook the tennis court.
Many of our customers are locals who walk to and from the pub, but we also
attract people from the nearby hospital around visiting times, passers by
and people who travel especially for our food. Quality food is served
from a main menu offering traditional pub food along with our famous sizzler
dishes. We have established bar staff who are very friendly and we are
very proud to receive the many compliments about the service we provided. Come
