 Situated close to Junction 12 of the M4, on
the main Bath Road to Reading
in the good outer residential area of Southcote, the
George & Dragon attracts plenty of passing trade.
Customers, who have tried us out often come
back for more, travelling from some distance.
Good wholesome food is available every day from our Giant Plate menu. We offer a
good place to relax with friends in modern, bright and trouble free
surroundings. This creates an
ideal venue for both families and women to visit.
Although this old pub is contrasted by the more up to date colours our customers like it, along with the comfort and excellent
service. It is all one
room but split into pool, bar and restaurant areas. You can enjoy
sky sports from our 13 TVs which include screens in both the ladies &
gents toilets so you don't need to miss a goal!
We attract a good mix of ages and everyone comes along when Charity
nights are held. We are well
known for these nights and all newcomers are welcome to join in!
